Some signs and displays require unique customization. Projects such as these require skillful craftsmanship from a broad range of fields such as carpentry, painting, design, and engineering. Construction and installation often require special considerations such as overall size and final placement.

Cheroke High School contracted us to build their main identification sign. The final product had to be extremely large and liftable by crane for initial installation and future maintenance.

We constructed a high density urethane (HDU) cabinet which is hollow and implemented concealed lifting hardware with removable lugs. The cabinet required a glued and sealed multi-piece construction with an aluminum reinforced internal framework. We also fabricated the curve spanning the top of the sign. The cabinet has an acrylic polyurethane finish and features logos with raised line art in handpainted acrylic. The unit is supported by plain steel posts with high density urethane (HDU) caps. The decorative elements sport the school's colors. With pre-planning, complete installation required less than 1/2 of a day.
